 HSE Philosophy

Reef Services, LLC’s safety philosophy has always been that an effective safety program must be an integral part of the company’s operations. The safety and health of employees are a primary concern in conjunction with the manufacturing, quality and distribution of Reef’s products and services.

In order to protect employees from suffering and hardship caused by injuries, Reef Services, LLC promotes safe work practices and maintains a safe working environment through an effective accident prevention and safety training program. Safety is the direct responsibility of all Reef employees and should receive primary consideration during daily operations. It is also the responsibility of all personnel to adhere to established safe work practices, report unsafe conditions or hazards and help to continually improve existing conditions in the workplace.

Reef pledges the protection of the employee, the customer, and all others we encounter. No job is too important or insignificant not to do it safely.

Environmental Policy

Reef Services, LLC is dedicated to helping oil and gas operators evaluate, stimulate and increase well productivity. We do this by placing the emphasis on one thing: Results. This mission requires that the company operate all its facilities in a manner that protects human health and the environment.

Environmental Guidelines

Reef Services, LLC intends to carry out its environmental policy in an atmosphere of continuous improvement according to the following guidelines:

• The Company will design, construct and operate its facilities in a manner that protects human health and minimizes the impact of its operations on the environment.
• The Company will encourage and expect each employee to be environmentally responsible.
• The Company will provide ongoing education and training for Reef employees so that they will be prepared to deal with day-to-day environmental responsibilities as well as environmental emergencies.
• The Company will comply with or exceed all applicable laws and regulations. Where existing laws and regulations are not adequate, the company will adopt its own environmental quality standards.
• The Company will make environmental considerations a priority throughout the process of developing new products.
• The company will encourage and promote waste minimization, the sustainable use of natural resources, recycling, energy efficiency, resource conservation and resource recovery.

• The Company will communicate its commitment to environmental quality to Reef employees, vendors, customers and the communities in which it operates.
• The Company will recognize and respond to the community’s questions about its operations.
• The company will actively participate with government agencies and other appropriate groups to ensure that the development and implementation of environmental policies, laws, regulations and practices serve the public interest and are based on sound scientific judgment.
• The Company will regularly assess and report to management and the board of directors on the status of its compliance with this policy and with environmental laws and regulations.

Training System

The Reef Services, LLC training program is designed not only to ensure compliance, but instill a culture and philosophy of professionalism in all that we do.

Prior to any program training session, Reef Services, LLC employees attend a new hire orientation, where they are introduced to the Reef safety culture, job hazards, policies and procedures. At the completion of new hire orientation, each employee will be able to demonstrate:

• Ability to perform job activities in a safe manner.
• Ability to recognize hazards associated with job activities.
• Ability to communicate Reef product hazards and associated emergency response.
• Knowledge of Reef procedures, policies, work practices.
• Ability to be responsible for personal safety as well as the safety of others.

Product Stewardship

At Reef, we believe that it is our responsibility to ensure we are good stewards of our products to help protect the environment. Employees continuously examine the life cycle of Reef products and responsibly communicate all environmental information. We work and live in the local communities we serve, and will strive to protect them.
